Anyone Using the Bluetooth Adapter for Moto Radios?

Wondering if anyone is using the below Bluetooth adapter for Motorola radios. If so, how do you like it, etc? Do you have to use their Bluetooth headset or can you use another brand?

    Thx

Hmm very interesting. I would also be interested in knowing peoples experiences with these. I think if it came with a headset that didnt look as much like a normal headset then it would be better, but I think during contacts people would just think im talking on my phone haha

Keep in mind that if your radio is encrypted, you are neutralizing the encryption when the traffic is sent over the unsecure Bluetooth link.

Encrypted voice radios - in day to day law enforcement circles - are extremely rare. But definitely an excellent warning to heed.

They work well for plain clothes assignments, as you can put the radio in a backpack or some other place. They do tend to pick up an awful lot of background noise.
