I went to the El Pollo Loco today in uniform, and they gave me maybe 25% off. I didn't even ask for the discount.

Pollo Loco and IHOP the best you can do? Here in my area us cops dine at the finest restraunts for Half or better. We have a couple 5 star eating establishments that keep the back door open and a table set in the kitchen for us at no charge.

Then we have Chili's, Outback, Chevy's, and a few local places that are all very nice to us.

Each Galls store has its own rules on the LEO discount. They are established by the individual store manager. For example, the Galls LA store gives 10% to those agencies that galls has contracts with such as LASD, LAC Probation, LAPD, LAFD. just ask for the 10% LEO discount. The Manager is a nice guy and will give you the discount if you are sworn with another agency that Galls may not have a contract with.

Ammo Bros also has a 10% discount for LEO's. Just ask at the register.

Botach Tactical will give you 10% if you are at the store and ask. That is only on items that they have in stock in the store.

Every little bit helps. stay safe everyone.

Didn't know Ammo Bros had a discount. Cerritos, Ontario, or both? I spent good money there!

As for Botach, if you go to the store, you have to identify yourself anyway. They only let military and LE inside the store.

Asking for a discount though... Not my thing if it is not automatic policy and you have to ask for it.

Sport Chalet may still have a 'first responders' discount. 25% off IIRC. Nice if you need some Under Armor or a gear bag. Now that I'm thinking...it maybe a good place to check out for those on dive, waterbourne, and SAR details.

                hey Notorious
I've gotten the discount at the cerritos ammo bros. I assume the ontario store has it also. You have to ask at the register because it's impossible to know if you are LEO, unless in uniform. One of the family members that own the store works for my dept, that is why they offer discounts to LEO's. I ask without forcing the issue, "do you offer a LEO discount?". If they do, great, if they don't, great, I'm still buying the items. Stay safe everyone.

I didn't get it at Ontario, but I didn't ask either. They knew I was a LEO because I asked if they will match prices at Pro Force because they kept telling me they can get off-list guns and hi-caps for me. Oh well.

That's funny.... if anyone in my dept. takes a discount for anything non-LE related (food) we can get fired.

                      No joke.....

In my hood, IHOP is the upscale restaurant. It's one of few that has real silverware and food that you don't have to unwrap before you eat it.
