Law Enforcement Officers are not bound by the one in 30 days rule. The 10 day wait is still done unless they can get letterhead from the department.

Wish I could afford to take advantage of that exemption then.

                Congrats Ron!

You are lucky on the LC9s...I tried to pick one up from Proforce and they said they only had 5 and they sold in a day...I am waiting on their next shipment.

$339+tax & DROS. All State got 18 in and they had a waiting list of about 25 people. I was 1st on the list and wanted 2 from the beginning. One is a gift for my son for graduating paramedic school.

I wish it was the other way around. Even if I could afford it I am not crazy enough to buy more than 2 guns in a month. So I don't care much for the 30 day exemption, I would rather not have to wait 10 days to pick up the new gun.

I recommend you take a look at the Taurus 709 Slim instead of the LC9. I carried the LCP for a bit but never liked that 12 pound trigger and the 380 round. The Taurus has a sweet trigger just like the Glock and it has double strike and a frame safety. I paid $380 before tax and DROS for the stainless slide version from ProForce.
