I'll be going through my oral interview within the next few days, I'll be told tomorrow which day it is. In the meantime I am trying to get my Personal History Statement put together just to save time and be ready if I move further along. However I am having a tad bit of trouble with the former residence section. I moved around quite a bit during college, from apartment to apartment. One was a home my roommates at I rented from a private party, not a company. It has been quite a while and I don't have the fondest clue of who used to rent it and their information. Also, I never carried out relationships with housemates (they were more people living with me rather than friends) and so I really have no info on their current addresses and contact numbers. Is this all info that must be completed or can I put as much as I know? I may be able to reconnect with a few but it seems hard that all could be contacted. Thanks in advance.

If you dont know, then dont put anything down. Make sure you tell your background investigator that.Any gun owner who does not support the NRA is a freeloader.

Good to know. Most my housemates were people I didn't get along or really associate with. Just split the rent. It's been many years so they're long gone by now. Thanks for the knowledge.Comment

I have the same situation with a former employer... Company is still around, but none of the same people work there...Not one! Just make a "Good Faith" effort to track them down. If you can't, you can't."Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest."~M.Twain~Comment

Yeah. Now that I think about it my first job was at a bookstore that is completely out of business. I'll put it down but there is no one really to contact. Thanks for the knowledge everyone.Comment

Yep. Most of the places I've worked at when I was younger are no longer around or anyone there at the time had long since moved on or been indicted. I'm sure this happens so much that a BI pretty much figures he won't get much out of it but he wants to see how you answer it.
It's the same as when you're on the job. A small incident might not matter much if you reported it but if you lied, it's your job.I like guns
