There is a range over by the airport that is behind my house and I was wondering if you guys know what you do with your brass? Sometimes I am tempted to drive on down there when I hear you guys shooting but I resist lol.

Just a guess but I'd have to agree that they are probably recycling the brass to a reloading company. You could call the department and talk to their rangemaster.

Thats what I thought but there is a local range here and they have buckets and buckets of brass just sitting there. They have a hard time recycling it because the local recycling center doesn't want to find any live rounds.Originally posted by barrageComment

Watsonville PD keeps it all. Don't know where it goes after that. They probably won't give it to anyone. And driving down when you hear shooting is an exceedingly bad idea. You would probably get a less than cordial greeting.Comment
