I sometimes travel south on I680 and there is a stretch that recently had fastrak installed to charge people for using the carpool lane, but I have never seen any LEO patrolling it until today (as a matter of fact... today I saw 3 cars pulled over today).
My question is... did something change (like is the cruiser now linked to the fastrak system to allow highway patrol to know who did or did not pay the toll)? I was never really able to figure out how this would be enforced since I see single occupancy and no transponder on their dash all the time...
