first excuse my grummer and spelling.Regarding Arizona shooting, which has caused big problems for law abiding citizens/gun owners.As leo you and i know that this was nut case situation.This clown could have driven i pickup truck,car or suv in to crowd and killed more then 6 people.Why are our politicians so quick to jump the gun and go after guns.They might pay more attention when leo tells them the truth.Thank you

Ft. Hood was the terrorist act of a committed and self admitted jihadist, although something of a lunatic one I'll grant you. And indeed it was a case where the thousands of gun laws already on the books couldn't have prevented it.

Many mental illnesses don't manifest until the person is in their early to mid twenties. Also some older people who have owned guns for decades can also develop conditions which would prohibit further ownership.
There is no piece of paper that can ever correct the problem. The issue is when something bad happens the public immediately expect the government to come up with a solution; even if there isn't really one.Comment
