    Recommendations for firearms training

Please recommend any firearms trainers you have experience with. Preferably close to the greater Los Angeles area.

I completed Level II courses with two smaller training groups over a decade ago that have either merged or are currently training outside of California.

Scotty Reitz, TFTT in Orange County, ???

Considering driving to AZ to stay with friends for training with either Viking Tactics or Vickers as well. Wondering if it would be worth the money and the drive to do so.

I took a Off Duty Survival class (lecture only) through LA CLEAR. They mentioned TFTT, FTA (Firearns Training Associates in Corona), and Black Water (San Diego). I took an Advanced Low Light Night Shooting Course through FTA. Wasn't LE only, so it was too basic for what I was looking for. The course was packed too. However, I liked the instructors' experience level.

FTA does have an LE Night Tactics course that I was gonna take this month, but I'm saving my cash for a Black Water Course I'm taking next month. Pretty excited about that one. Two day course. 100K handgun rounds, and 150 shotgun rounds!

I highly recommend saving a bit more and going to take a class with Bill Rogers...it is well worth the expense and the time...it will really raise your level of ability
