This question is addressed to motorcycle cops. What is a better off freeway ride, Harley Davidson or BMW?

Riding a HD myself I would probably say the BMW is a million times better.

I rode both a 2004 1150 and a 2007 1200. The 2007 was a great ride on surface streets and twisty roads. On the freeway, I found myself getting locked into one position, so anything more than about an hour was uncomfortable. There were not a lot of places to put your feet or legs, other than the foot pegs. The guys that rode Harleys loved them, except for the slower acceleration speed. My personal bike is a cruiser (non-Harley) but similar seating and feet positions. It's fun to ride, and I can spend more time on it on the freeway without getting locked into one position. It's not as much fun in the twistys though. The acceleration and handling of the BMW made it way more fun.

The air-cooled Harley definitely wasn't as much fun in the summer.
