Help with Moving Violation

My daughter who is 21 got a ticket for 35/25 zone,while living in the Bay
Area,now she is living at home here in SOCAL going to school. The court
date in Oakland is 02/21. Is there a mechanism to pay a fine and not have
to travel back up to Oakland for a court appearance? There is no
information on the citation except the phone # for the court. Thank you

Many courts will mail a courtesy notice to the address listed on the citation indicating bail/fine amouts and how to handle by mail. Keep in mind, with recent budget cuts, some courts have discontinued this costly practice. Call the number listed on the citation and they may give you info on how you can handle it by mail.
