Yes...but I would advise against it. It is too easy to unkowingly violate related firearm laws (Gun Free School Zones for example). You could possibly then jeapordize your "legal" status through revocation of your green card, deportation proceedings, jail time. Not worth it IMHO.

I think the bigger issue with Open Carry for a non-citizen are the transportation requirements for when you need to lock up the firerarm (Due to GFSZs, etc)

12026.1 exemptions for legal concealed transport are for Citizens only which means a green card holder would need a different code section for an exemption. suchas 12026.2 which has specific destination requirements.

So, OC for a non-citizen would be extremely difficult...
