How often do you go to the range?

Just wondering how often, as a professional LEO, you go to the range to keep up your proficiency?

I put weekly....Lately it has been a few times a week. Im a good shot, BUT I HAVE to maintain it.

I was at least weekly for many years. Often more so. Now that I am out I try to shoot whatever defensive pistol I'm using once a month or so, and I am out at the trap club busting clays two to three weekends a month.

Daily when I'm running the range. It's good having the keys to all the guns and ammo! When the range isn't going I rarely shoot on my own time. But range is usually 6weeks at a time, and we do it every quarter so that's good for me!

At least once a week, but I'm a "gun guy" as I suspect most here are. If you were to survey all LEOs (not just those on a gun forum), you would find that most cops rarely shoot other than at department quals.

Every 4 to 6 weeks for pistol. Only 3 to 6 months for rifle and shotgun. I'm limited by the availability of ranges for rifle/shotgun.
