For LEOs in California, are personal firearms and ammo tax deductible? What about any accessories (sights, mags, a safe, etc...)?

All the items, guns, ammo, accessories, that you use for your duty should be deductible. Ammo, range fees, training tuitions, lodging and food for training that are not reimbursed by the department should be deductible, also.
In other words, all the expenses that you incurred for your duty and employment are tax deductible as far as I know.Last edited by Guest; 10-22-2010, 5:43 PM. -
