Any CBP candidates in N. San Diego county?

Mods, please move where appropriate if this is the wrong forum.

Looking for a training partner in N. SD county to prep for the PFT1 and PFT2. I've been hitting 24 Hour Fitness, but having a training partner to help keep me from breaking routine and slacking would be awesome.

No need to move this to another forum.

Indeed I have. Figured I'd ask around here too.

There are a few here....but your best bet is on honorfirst. You just have to get people to come out of hiding on that site.

Are you talking about CBP (Customs) or BP (Border Patrol)?
have the requirements changed for CBP?

I think that customs adopted BP fitness standards. Could be wrong

Ill have to look into that.
I know there were going to change some things at the academy - as far as incorporating PT with the defensive tactics, handcuffing, baton etc etc - but have not heard anything about adopting BP fitness standards.

The only changes - well rumors - I have heard, was that CBP had added a 1.5mile run (lowered completion time also)and some other cardio to their pre-hiring process. If you did pass the run your app was dropped. Also that we were doing pre hire polygraph.

Have not run into any pre-hires to confirm the rumors

Border Patrol, to be precise. I'm applying for a BPA slot with a preference for CA.

Also, I've seen on honorfirst that it looks like they're doing 100% polygraphs for new applicants, but I have no sources to cite.
