Traffic cam on Romona Expressway

New Traffic cam on Romona Expressway or a cam or nothing at all, not sure if it;s a video cam or not, drove by it the other day at 60mph and a light flashed, but the light looked just like a light flashing as i passed over the speed limit.
Any body got the skinny on this.

Last I knew photo speed enforcement is illegal in Ca therefore my guess is it was a warning.

Where is it?
At an intersection, or just out in the middle of nowhere?
Where and how was the camera mounted? Up on a street light, or lower?

is it bright enough to cause an accident?

Those are just advisory signs. No cameras. There are two on Gilman Springs Road too. They cause people to slam on their brakes and have almost caused several accidents already, the total opposite of what they are supposed to achieve. The strobe flashes when you even get close to the speed limit. It is not bright enough to impair vision, but it is very distratcing and creates a hazard.

They are dangerous in my opinion. The speed limit is 55 and some idiots drastically slow to 40 because of those signs.

It is a lighted speed limit sign that shows your speed,
If your going over the speed limit it flashes a bright white light,
two of them Located between hansen and lake perris drive on the back side of lake perris (east) side.
Light itself dose not appear to be bright enough to cause an accident, but I noticed that people are distracted enough that there slowing down allot and not paying enough attention to the traffic,
The speed limit is 55.
Traffic Cams legal I do not know.
