    officer shooting stats

In a recent discussion with a friend..... We pondered over the amount of officer involved shootings here in Sacramento. Would like to compare and contrast the number of homicides vs. the number of deaths inflicted/caused by officers in Sacramento county...... Anyone know where such stats might be found for any given year??? 2009 being the target.....

I googled but just came up with alot of stuff, nothing with stats.

I went through a shooting package my division put on for us and they had the stats broken down by year but I didn't write any down.

Probably want to contact each department, CHPD, Folsom PD, Twin Rivers PD (School Cops), Sac Co, EGPD, Sac City, Probation, Parole......or maybe the DA's office?

If your just looking at police involved gun related deaths, the coroner's office should have the stats for the whole county.

File a PRAR with the county district attorney.
