is there any laws against tazer carrying on my property,in hand,if i am investigating noise? rather then shooting a gun at a car thief,hit him with a tazer on my property??any legality issues?? wife has a sig357 to back me up from the house should the situation elevate..thereby keeping the gun out of a brandishing situation ..

Tasers are perfectly legal to carry concealed in public as well as on your property in CA.

HUH? That is exactly when you can make them ride the lightening. Don't try to taze someone that has a gun. Don't bring a taser to a gunfight.

Pretty sure the publicly available tasers (30 second burst as opposed to LE 5 second burst) allow their users some sort of insurance clause stating that if in fact it's used lawfully, they will replace it at no cost to the owner.
