Need help deciding on a holster

So it has come down to these three-

    Safariland Raptor 6075
Find holsters, belts, accessories, and police supplies at CopsPlus. Your source for quality duty gear at competitive prices since 2002!

    Safariland ALS STX 6065
Find holsters, belts, accessories, and police supplies at CopsPlus. Your source for quality duty gear at competitive prices since 2002!

    Blackhawk Level 3 Auto Lock
Find holsters, belts, accessories, and police supplies at CopsPlus. Your source for quality duty gear at competitive prices since 2002!

I am working in the Security Patrol field and need a level 3 holster for my Beretta 96. I am a bigger guy and am thinking I will need some level of "Drop" from the duty belt. These three above look good to me but want a professional opinion from the people who use them on a daily basis. Thanks guys and stay safe!

I have heard NOTHING but good things about the Safariland ALS holster system. I recently attended a course with the LittleRock (or might have been North Little Rock) PD and the officers where using them with their Beretta 96, they were very positive about them. Paul Howe is also a fan (and his is one opinion which I have 100% faith in).

Just curious ... do you feel you get enough training to feel safe with a level 3 holster? (ability to deploy the weapon quickly enough to protect yourself?)

Yes I do. With practice I am sure I will do very well with them. And it is more of a requirement than a security need since most companies around the Sacramento area that I KNOW of require a Level 3 holster.

Ordered the 6065. Lets see how it all works out. I had to get it online, no local shops carry it in the Beretta. Local shops only carry Glocks/Sig.

i use a Blackhawk Serpa for teaching and a Safariland SLS before i retired. i have been working with a ALS holster for a few months because i've heard so many good things about it.

i'm convinced the Serpa is faster, because it feels more natural to me, but i'd strongly consider the ALS for duty wear, because it is a bit more protected against the elements

Flat out awesome system!!!!! A rep brought his stuff in, and had a glock in the right hand configuration, whick I drew very fast for being the wrong hand! Can't wait until they release it for the usp...My S.L. level 2 isn't bad, but this is just sick!

be sure to blow any lint/debris out of the Serpa paddle cut-out at the beginning of each shift

Where are you located? Here in Temecula the Ace Hardware store has a uniform shop that will allow you try different belts and holsters with dummy guns. Your best bet is to try out the models you are looking at.

I have the III ALS and it's great. There is no way in hell a holster grab can occur unless the bad guy knows how how to manipulate the lower thumb release.

He made get the hood down, but that's about the point where my 38+p BUG get shoved under his chin.

Sac uniform and Blumenthals are both really good at letting you try things on.....At least the used to be!
