Taurus 'Judge' - Available to LEOs?

Is the 'Taurus Judge' legal for off duty carry for CA and Federal LEOs in CA?
If so, how would we go about obtaining one?

no it isn't legal unless your department owns it and issues it to you.

The Taurus Judge is considered a Short Barreled Shotgun in CA, and there is no LEO exemption for personal ownership.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

No posts of mine are to be construed as legal advice, which can only be given by a lawyer.

        ^^^This^^^... one hundred percent correct.

And I can't imagine too many departments would be racing to issue them.

Not a lawyer, just a former LEO proud to have served.

They're over rated anyway. They just don't feel good in the hand.
