    where to resole boots?

evening everyone. I have two pairs of bates lace to toe boots. They are the best that bates makes, in my opinion. I need to get them resoled, but I don't see a resole service at the bates website. Anyone know of a place local to the LA area or someplace I can ship them to? Thanks in advance and stay safe everyone.

I would look up shoe repair in the area, then take em to the oldest shoe master you can find. I paid 65 bucks to have the danners done and they are great.

I've found that the more the place smells like chemicals, and the dirtier the cobbler is, the better the job will be. I can't stand in my boot guys store for more than about five minutes without getting high. I pay between $75-$85 for Danners to get resoled.

          Lt Mike,

There's a great shoe repair outfit in Canyon Country, on Sierra Highway about 1/4 mile north of Soledad Canyon Road on the east side of the road (located next to an Italian restaurant). The owner has just the kind of shop that Alex described in his post. I've been very satisfied with the work. He's done a couple of resoles for me. Very reasonable cost.
