Not to judge the officer in any way, but that is the main reason I believe LASD doesn't permit the motors to get involved in pursuits. Ron, that has not changed since I've left has it.

They can pursue, but it is very restrictive.

FYI, Long Beach and CHP each had another rider go down today. Minor injuries fortunately today. That's 4 in two days in SoCal
