If anyone qualified for a "pot card" it would be her.
Hell... I could qualify for one just to help deal with her issues!

But why is it that I get up in the morning and take my BP meds, then go to work like (nearly) everyone else.
People with pot cards always have it with them, and seem to think it's okay to be using it when driving.

I don't have a problem with people who want to spark one up every now and then. I have a lot of friends who do... but none of them have pot cards, and none of them drive after using.
If the state wants to issue pot cards, fine... but they need to revoke the "patient's" driver's license. If they have a medical condition that requires that they walk around stoned all day to control pain, then they should not be driving.
If they don't need to be stoned all day to control pain, then they don't need a pot card.

But it's like going online to buy Viagra... there are "doctors" around every corner who will write a 'scrip for anything you ask for as long as it's not a hardcore narcotic (and even sometimes then).

    Pot?
Legalize it, and treat it the same as alcohol. Wanna get high? Fine... get high... but don't get behind the wheel, and when you walk into a store or have other dealings with other people, if you're stoned, expect to be treated the same as you would be treated if you are drunk in public. What you do at home or at your friends' house is nobody's business.
As an Eagle Scout and MMJ card holder I whole heartedly disagree.

Do not assume all people with a MMJ recommendation are gang running, drug dealers abusing the system.

Don't assume that all MMJ users are so stupid as to drive under the influence.

Don't assume that just because people are young they can't be injured. I probably have more broken bones and injuries than the majority of people on this board at the age of 20. Not to mention most of my injuries still exist (like my two broken ankles that were never fixed because my parents thought I was being a *****.... or my nerve damage..... or my daily shoulder subluxation .... or.....)

    Get it?
The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Hey everyone, let's get back on the topic of the picture taking please. I let this go OT too long and for that I apologize. The Marijuana subject is probably best done in the OT forum in this particular instance. Thanks.

I've always told her I'd rather her call for a ride than risk it, so I was happy about that and later talked to her about her poor planning decision and thought nothing more of it.
So now lets say I got pulled over for not having a front license plate on. LEO checks their ID's and such cause he's drunk....he pops up on probation. Can the LEO now search MY car freely?? or just him?? Whats the deal??
I hardly know this guy and she "swears" he is clean....but my thoughts are a criminal is a criminal and if him being in my car gets my car searched....I'll seriously reconsider my offer to pick her up when she can't drive.
Also, what if we are in her car with him and get pulled over and they start searching her car?? Can they search me and my property??
          Thx in advance.
The short answer is yes. If there is a search condition in his probation anything he has access to can be searched.

Here is the deal. As soon as you get stopped and someone is on probation, everyone in the car is going to be searched before the car is searched. How you ask? Officer safety. If I am getting you out of the car so I can search it, I need to know if you have anything that will hurt me while I conduct my search of the vehicle. the search of the person on probation and the search of the vehilce are going to be considered probation searches, and the search of you (not on probation) will just be a pat down for weapons.

The officer took the picture to update a file. I do it all the time when I contact people in the same location over and over again. That way when the building they are haging out at get burglarized I already have a face and a possible suspect.

Simple....Because I have delt with the "patients". When they can snowboard all day long, jump off of 30-40 foot cliffs then come back to the parking lot and do back flips off of their cars, only to pull out the 215 card when asked about smoking weed in a public place.

              Why do you have a 215 card?.....Because I have a bad back.

I hope I am just missing your sarcasm because EVERY 215 card I have run across in the field has been BS.

He has no proby officer if he is on summary probation.

it's still probation. But the term we need is "subject to search and seizure"
