    camping with guns

    heyy everyone out there. Thought someone might be able to anwser this question for me.

    soon me and a family member of mine plan on going out to the desert to shoot, and stay the night out there as a camping trip.

    anything illegal about that??

    or anything the LE wouldnt like about it??

    hope to get some info!!

    As long as it is both legal to camp and shoot in the area you plan to visit there shouldn't be any problems. I'm up north, so I can't offer specific advice to your area, but I have been on plenty of shooting camping trips. Just make sure everyone is done shooting before the drinking starts.

      You'll need to find out who runs the lands you plan to camp on / shoot at. If its BLM land, you're fine. If its state park land, you cannot even carry a loaded weapon, much less shoot it.

        California City does not allow any target shooting it is within city limits. If you want to camp and shoot go to BLM land off the 15 interstate.
