    Cigarettes butts on the road.

I am smoking my self, but I hate when people damping butts to the window of the car. They damaging property, causing fires, making our roads look like garbage.
2 days ago I went pick up my doughter from group studies and one *****hole in front of me first cut me off, then just simply dump lighted sgarette and it landed on the hood of my car. Just to say it's new Lexus just bought day before. Well, nothing happened to the car, but if I will be closer it will landed in my sunroof.
It is so frustrated. I wrote *****hole's license plate and car description and want to theach this guy lesson.
Any siggestion how to do it? Is there any web site I can report.

    Thanks a lot.

Nah, I have to file information there and can't give license plate or any other description-this is not payback to people, it just making statistic.

Your judges must be very different than ours. The judges around here will hammer them for a max fine.

As a former motor this was always a sticking point with me. I've been hit in the chest/neck with lit cigarettes before. Now that I'm back in a car on graves it's pretty easy to spot the idiots dumping their butts out the windows. The spark show a lit cigarette throws out when it lands can be seen several car lengths away.

The area I live is rural, and outside the county I work. A hillside burned a few years back and would have come straight toward my house, and a few neighbors' houses, had it not been for a Cal Fire tanker plane that was on it's way to another fire. They dumped retardant and extinguished the entire hill. That fire was reportedly started by a cigarette. A few months later, I was on my way home and a passenger in front of me dumped a lit cigarette out the window. The driver happened to stop right next to the burned hillside. I think that encounter served as a nice life lesson for the young passenger.

These are the same jerks that throw anything out their windows, lit cigarettes, filled ashtrays, fast food packaging, trash, garbage, anything.

this section also has a mandatory community service requirement like the littering infractions. Or at least it used to.
