Was this Hamilton in Canada or somewhere else?

you just never know. its worse when they start out nice on the intitial contact. i am glad it worked out for the officer. did the susp hit the pole for being 23152 or was he hit by the gunfire?

One round out of 14 or 15 fired hit the suspect in the back, and that wound was fatal.

The officer is, at least according to the more detailed press story, pretty lucky I think. The suspect dropped the hammer on either a dud or an empty chamber with his first pull. Suspect's weapon... S&W .41 Magnum. You can hear the hammer fall on the audio.

                      That is downright spooky.

One of the news articles mentioned that the BG's first hammer strike was on an expended cartridge. Won't go into tactics/officer safety in an unsecured forum - suffice it to say that there are a few training points in that video and that officer was EXTREMELY (as in buy a lotto ticket now) LUCKY! Glad he was ok and he ended that POS!

I WONDER IF THE FATAL SHOT WAS THE ONE HE TOOK A SECOND TO FIRE AT THE END. HE WENT THROUGH ALMOST ALL HIS ROUNDS, THEN HE WAITED A SECOND(POSSIBLY TO AIM) THEN PULLED THE TRIGGER. I BELIEVE I SAW THIS IN THE VIDEO. HE HAD ONE CONTROLLED SHOT AT THE END. POSSIBLY THE GOOD ONE.
