Thanx to all for the welcome. Still getting used to the format and finding it a little time consuming to navigate the pages. Of course, with the massive content it will still be time consuming when I do have a handle on it.

I'm looking forward to participating. I actually did enter a test message prior to this one when I found a "group" listed in the east bay. Then I couldn't find a listing for "groups." Can someone point me to the "groups" section? I probably shouldn't leave that one hanging.

Will never retire ... Last I lived in Solano Co. was when I worked for the Solano Co. Drug Abuse Bureau in early 70's. Living in Alameda, now, but thanx for the invite.

I still get the occasional email remembering waaaaay back but it is difficult to remember most. The BBS had 240 nodes across the nation and generated a lot of users. Nothing compared to nowadays, but it was truly a miracle before the internet :-).

Nowadays, no one used their real name so it is hard to tell who is who. You, for instance :-).

Leroy retired after 28 years of service. He's just working at other things now.
