can I ship ammo to NAPA?

its restricted on some websites, and I didn't notice. buyer already sent me a money order

does the restriction apply only to online vendors or I subject to the same regulations?
While I don't love Ebay/PayPal, it's sorta like having an ugly wife who is a great cook, always wants kinky sex, thinks you deserve to buy lotsa guns and go hunting for the whole fall & winter BUT wants 10% of your money to spend on PETA.

Its not worth the hassle..99% chance nothing will happen but that 0.01 if something does is likely a ball game you dont want to play in

See post #5 on this thread. It appears that there is no law against shipping ammo to Napa.

This whole thread is about ammo restrictions and how some companies
react to FUD by not selling when there is no law against it.

I live in Sonoma County, only a few miles from Napa and I can and do get ammo mailed to me, ordered from the internet. I have never seen anything restricting Napa.

use a common carrier such as UPS or Fedex, US mail does not permit mailing
              ammunition.

should be marked cartridges small arms ORM-D

I have been down to city hall researching this , and found that there are no Napa city or county ordinances restricting ammunition in any way.
"False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crime." - Cesare Beccaria, quoted by Thomas Jefferson

Some vendors (CTD being one IIRC) have a specific zip code in Napa County blocked, which flummoxes all sales to the county so far as they are concerned. I did some research a while back and the zip code in question is for the Post Office at Spanish Flat along Lake Berryessa. Why? Who knows. I did some digging and made some calls, but found no regulation or local ordinance that controlled.

But some vendors do redline entire counties based on one local areas ordinances. Sacramento County comes to mind. If I lived there I'd find a vendor who was willing to ship.

As others above, I live in Sonoma County and no problems getting any ammo shipped right to my door.
