    Non-CA friendly LEO store

So I came across www.kiesler.com They are a "Police Supply" company that sells police equipment and firearms from . To make a long story short, I found an HK USP .40 for $399!!! I emailed the company to make the purchase, their response was "We do not ship to CA". Of course.......

I included in the email, I have LEO ID. I even offered to buy the gun WITHOUT the mag, still a no go!!

    Link to HK:

If anyone can find a "middle man" I would be very interested in their services.

Sorry, can't help, but according to this blurb not many people will be able to in CA:

KIESLER'S DOES NOT SELL TO OR DEAL WITH THE CIVILIAN MARKET, INDIVIDUALS, OR FFL DEALERS. KIESLER'S ONLY DEALS WITH, ISSUES QUOTES TO, AND SELLS TO FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES, INDIVIDUAL OFFICERS, RESERVE OFFICERS, AFFILIATED GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, US MILITARY, INDIVIDUAL MILITARY PERSONNEL, RETIRED MILITARY WITH RETIRED ID, AFFILIATED TRAINING FACILITIES, FIREFIGHTERS, EMS, PROSECUTERS, DISTRICT ATTORNEYS.
If they won't ship to one of (hundreds) of FFLs in CA - or to an FFL in general - that rules out all gun stores.

Any other attempt at getting an out of state retired or active military buddy to buy it for you would be a straw purchase, and you can't buy a handgun out of state and bring it here anyways even if you could get an out of state LEA to do it for you...

I'd try getting your department involved and write them a letter. They might turn down business by a single cop but probably not as quickly if a decent size LEA writes them.

I'd say you're SOL on these guys if the above doesn't work.

I know it has been said before, but CA is the red-headed step child of the gun community.....

In bold is wrong, it's only a straw purchase if the purchaser buys the gun for somebody who is forbidden from owning firearms. You could have your freind/BIL/ whatever buy the gun for you then ship to Cali as a PPT.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

They also require a department letterhead and a copy of your cred. even if it's just for an individual officer purchase.
