    LEO's and the MAGPUL MS2

Any one running the MAGPUL MS2 on their duty rigs?

I just put one on over the weekend, we'll see. I cannot mess with too much on my M4, so I purchased a Daniel Defense EZ rear sling attachment and front rail attachment.

My only issue off the bat is that I am totally depending on the push button sling swivels to hold up my M4.

    No se....

I have one... I am also about to change it.

We are allowed any type of sling/mount combo we want.

I chose the MS2 and am now shopping around. The biggest reason is the thin band of the ms2 has a tendancy to roll/fold upon it self making it uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

Also I found the my rig is much more comfortable in single point config as the sling does not interfere with me when I go from the low ready or on the move to shooting stance. I found that the sling got in the way from low ready to shooting position in 2 point config.

Just my two points of view and my 2 cents worth. take it for what its worth but 2 things I have come across carrying it daily for a while...

I am also running the asap and the exact same front sling mount that you showed in the second link. I have had the ms2 jaw sling mount disconnect itself on the front QD sling point one time at the range. The lock jaw just got positioned in a weird way and pushed the QD point down and during a normal stride it came off. Luckily I was holding the gun at the time so it didnt fall

**Disclaimer** I am not the po-po!
I am a very hard shooter and take my training very seriously, (Really you should see my face out there! I get mad at the paper.) I train right along side of LE, Fed. agencies, and Soldiers.

That said, I feel your pain! I do not like QD swivels, I do not trust them.
I am guessing because of your DD adapter for the rear...you cannot replace your endplate due to restrictions? Maybe this will work better for you and the MS2...

+1 for the CQD Sling Mount. I love mine and it's what the Magpul guys (Costa and Haley) run on their weapons systems. DSG is sold out and has been for awhile (which sucks they have the best LEO discounts). The only other place I've found them is directly from the manufaturer.

I you like single point slings. Give John Willis OSOE single point sling a serious look.

            Tech,

            That's awesome bro...

            Thanks for the links...

I was looking at the CQD front, but can't find it anywhere...

***ETA, I just did a warrant today with this set-up***

I get out of the car ( I am riding in the back of an unmarked SUV). I am walking with a few LEO's up to the residence and my front sling disconnects. I am wearing 5.11 gloves and walking trying hard to put this swivel back on. Got it back on and had to lag to the back of the stack...

            I was pissed....
