question for leos

i was told by a friend of mine thats studying to be a leo and his dad is also a leo that, im ok to carry a gun in my truck cause im an owner operator. i driver 18 wheelers.he told me this cause he said it was my place of business


would this be true?

The firearm must be in the living quarters of the rig...just like a motorhome or any vehicle that has living quarters.
