Had my Ride Along

I had a great time on my ride along last night, got to help out the officer in writing down of information. The officer was very nice to me, and gave me a TON of pointers on how to prepare for the oral interview if I make it to that point. Things like knowing where I am applying-getting all the information on demographics-etc.

The town is only sending 2 people through the academy-so we'll see if I get through!

If not I'll still be going through the modular academy.

I have my academy POST entry exam on Saturday then the Exam for the job in the town in 2 weeks. Wish me luck!

Good luck. If you pass, go on some more ride alongs. One of the questions they will ask at the oral is what have you done to prepare yourself. One ride is nice, more is better.
