HEARD SAN JOSE PD IS LOOKING !!!

A friend of mine who works for San Jose PD had mentioned that there are 112 or so officers up for retirment and I believe 92 are going to actually retire. Just putting the word out as I know allot if departments are on a hiring freeze and I have a few friends that are having a real ahrd time getting in the door to most local agencies. Good luck

They are always hiring. Like 500 people short to fill everything. They run 2 academys a year. All you need is on their website!!

        Embrace the suck.

I'm trying to picture a 70yr. old patrol officer in foot pursuit.

I am really shocked to see that age limit. Ours was 60 when I was hired and was changed when Sheriff Block wanted to run for another term. I believe it is 65 now but that doesn't apply to the people who were hired before the change IIRC.

I think with the 40 you have, and the 20 or so they give you, will make an AA.
