What amazes me is there was still a public phone booth out there in the first place.
That was probably the last one and should be placed in the Smithsonian so our great grand children will know how we suffered before the worldwide use of cell phones.

LOL
Looking closely, it appears that unit is at the impound/wrecking yard (based on the car next to it), and that phone booth is crimped in place! (i.e. the phone is not still anchored to the concrete underneath!"Bruen, the Bruen opinion, I believe, discarded the intermediate scrutiny test that I also thought was not very useful; and has, instead, replaced it with a text history and tradition test." Well in the movies cars drive right through those things,............
That was one well built pay phone. In the photo you can see another wrecked car, department wall of shame? I hope the officer was ok after that.Comment

HAHA thats funny, E.T.!!
Does anyone know what county car that is, wish it was LASD, then I could find out what really happened?Comment

I'll Take it.Comment

Wouldn't that be ironic if it happened while he was on a cell phone?Comment
-
the officer claimed to be distracted by a near naked woman, give me a minute and I will find the pic of her,Comment

Someone asked were that was. What department? That's a Fresno PD car. An older one. Fresno Switched to the Charger but I here they are not going to buy the chargers anymore to many problems with them.Comment
-
I agree with the charger comment.Comment

I've heard alot of bad things about the Charger, but man top top brass at LASD acquired some pretty mean looking chargersrecently!! Unmarked, black, tinted, with upgraded 5.7L V8 Hemi engine, maybe even an SRT Magnum, and internal emergency lights. Would be pretty cool to roll that 24/7....Comment
