How long to get AW reg back from DOJ?

Just wondering, I'm at 8 weeks right now since I mailed out my blue for and check and I haven't seen anything yet.

12 weeks for me. I called and spoke with "Terri" at DOJ several times about mine. She was very polite but not very knowledgeable. I received my conformation letter back 2 weeks ago and the manufacturer's name was wrong. I'm working on getting it corrected.

Its probably gonna take a couple of months. I think my last one took about 3 months and my partner's just got his back after about the same amount of time.

OK guys, you're making me jealous. Our Sheriff won't give us letters.

If I remember correctly the cost was around 50 bucks to the ffl plus the standard DROS fee, then DOJ gets their 20 bucks also. That was at a dealer up in Placerville.

From what I understand, AW registrations are backed up about 2 months right now due to cutbacks and a pile of registrations coming in right now.
Terri is a nice person to know and do business with. Remember, there is only ONE person putting that information in the system right now. They can get a little overburdened at times...
