Dr. Feelgood: "So what brings you hear young man?"

Stoner: "Yo Dr. dude, I need a medical marijuana card."

Dr. Feelgood: "What kind of ailment do you have?"

Stoner: "I've got, like lots of anxiety. I'm like really anxious...a lot."

Dr. Feelgood: "And what are you anxious about?"

Stoner: "I'm like anxious about getting busted by the cops for grass, man."

Dr. Feelgood: "I can see why you'd be anxious and I think I can help you. I'll just fill out this form for you."
"It came as no surprise that the FBI and DEA did this (the IRS thing is a strange, but whatever). After all, the sale and consumption of marijuana is against federal law.

What I am surprised to see though is local law enforcement agencies helping them. Last time I checked, the sale and consumption of marijuana is %100 legal on a state level, given you are under a doctors supervision.

So why are state employee's enforcing something that is not illegal (according to the state they work for)?"
The IRS is there to handle Asset Forfeiture and any possible tax evasion issues. They are the accountants in the investigation.

I do not know how the process works either but I KNOW a TON of this stuff gets on the street and in high schools.

If every dispensary followed the procedures and doctors didnt give out cards for BS reasons, this would not be the case.

Where Is you're proof? Trust me, most high school kids can't afford this high grade stuff. This is no $5 sack. And as for weed in high school, that's nothing new. That's like saying, "If gunshops followed procedures guns and ammo would never get In the hands of criminals."

Yes they do. I have worked uniformed patrol and on multiple occasions had to take minors into protective custody because they were getting high off of someone elses medical MJ.

Medical MJ must be transported from dispensary to the home. There is no exemption for driving around with your weed and giving it to your minor friends.

As an aside, just watched a documentary film called The Union about MJ in BC Canada. An interesting watch.

If a HS aged kid has marijuana in the uniquely marked and sealed bags used by a "licensed dispensary" and tells me that it came from said dispensary, I'd treat it as dispensary dope.

My proof is in experience. I have spent more than a few hours working in high schools and having graduated not that long ago from a big public high school that had one of the biggest drug busts in the US. Teachers were dealing along with a over 100 students.

I know that it is not the cheapest but you would be surprised how much teenagers can scrape together to pay for drugs.

Medical stuff is highly sought after in schools and is definitely sold in big quantities.
