    The salty old school type of CHP officer.

    Some sketchy details from this Riverside County incident. The wife of the salty CHP officer (since passed) did not like the journalist taking a picture of the traffic scene involving a civilian death. Note the cowboy boots.

    Looks like the civilian was trying to pay his traffic fine... Or is that the coroner???
    The unit looks to be about 25+years old. +/-

      The unit is a a Riverside SO unit. Chrysler product later 70ies. Note the sideburns on the RSO deputy. Neither officer appears to be wearing a protective vest.

          Doubtful this picture was taken by a reporter. More likely it was taken by another officer who was taking accident scene photos.

            Per his still alive wife, she clearly wrote it was toward the reporter that the officer didnt want there taking pics of the scene.
