    Walther PPS

Anybody purchased this handgun? What are your impressions? If planning to part with it, I might be interested

It's not on the CA safe roster and I have yet to find a gun shop willing to get one for me.

I also prefer to feel a gun before I buy it, and since no shops sell it here....I can't do that.

I had a chance to fondle with it in Seattle. Very nice gun. Us civilians can't get a new one, only on consignment. If you are in Bay Area you might see it on display in City Arms in Pacifica. I don't know if they let handle it if you are not a LEO.

Might try calling Markell's in Santa Rosa. Their business is very much LEO based and I seem to recall there being one there at some point. I'm also pretty sure they would order one for you if you ha ve a badge and ID.

There is one now at L.C. Action for $600-something. Won't do a non-LEO any good though. Its a slim gun, but not particularly small. Feels like a Glock 36 but with more height. The barrel and slide sit up tall above the hand.
