Most of the agencies I've seen (including mine) issue the carry size. Work for patrol. Work for detectives in suits, Work for plain clothes capacity.

I just have a plain jane p320 full size with 17 rd mags and night sites. That is our standard issue, but other grip modules are authorized as long as the armorer buys off on it.

I just got a P320 SC to go with it due to mag interchangeability.
