Having character and integrity and acting on it is a hard path to take...in any field, LE all the more difficult I would imagine.

Good for her. I’m sure that same letter could be used for many other departments with a few tweaks here and there.

Here is a link to her actual letter!

I wish her best of luck in her next endeavor! And I hope it includes an exit plan out of Seattle!

Unfortunately the people who need to read that letter don't give an efff. Collectively society is getting what it wants... woke, crime infested, drugged and mentally ill roaming the streets. Rome did not fail from War. We are seeing Christian based western culture destroyed before our eyes. ohh have a nice day

                Read the letter
The now Chief Diaz, had to brown nose the city council for 2 + years to promote him.
Now that he has got Chief's position and it's retirement benefits, I bet he retires in 2024.
For the sake of Seattle PD, I hope he does.

Good for her. Failed leadership and spineless mayor seems like a common factor in big, democratic controlled cities.

Truth. But having integrity and standing up for what you believe in also can pay dividends. You may remember this video of Greg Anderson, the Seattle Port cop who spoke out on Instagram about the lockdowns. Solid dude who got fired because he stood up. Since then, his Jiu Jitsu gym has taken off and he is running a successful podcast, Endless Endeavor. All after being fired because his "leaders" were spineless cowards who kowtowed to Jay Inslee.

                        Agreed.

I perused the letter, and it was more or less a rant, filled with opinions and light on details, save for mention of the vax mandate causing a lot of people to get fired or leave. No doubt SPD's leadership is in the swamp and its chief is the head swamp thing, but I would have liked to see more examples of why and how it's so bad.

                        Enjoy your retirement, Lt.

Female Seattle cop's scathing 'exit' letter

I would have been impressed if the hundreds of disgruntled police banded together and arrested the mayor and city council for violating the natural and constitutional rights of the entire citizenry.

This is just a fart in the wind like the rest of these strongly worded letters to tyrants. They just laugh and continue.

We should hang together or else we shall hang separately.
