If chair manufacturers truly wanted to test the strength of their products they would send some to their local prison for one week.

A cop pulled me over, I shut off my engine and placed both hands on the steering wheel.

He walked up to my driver side window. And said "papers".

            I replied "scissors", I WIN.

Started my car and drove away smiling.

I was a young CSO and pulled up behind a disabled vehicle at the limit line at a busy intersection near a drive through. There were several bystanders around, trying to direct traffic around the car.

I left about 50 feet between my patrol truck and the disabled vehicle and turned on the overheads. I told the driver we should push the vehicle back a few yards so the tow truck didn't have to hang out into the intersection when it hooked it up. Right as they were doing so, the tow truck arrived and pulled in head on between the disabled vehicle and my truck. I got on the PA and said "Don't worry guys, just leave it right there. He's going to take it from behind!"

Lots of laughs, til I realized what I said. Over the primary channel - not on the PA at all.

That happened to one of my partners before when they got behind a 10-8 car. They were doubled up, passenger grabbed the PA instead of the radio, and was calling out the plate, direction of travel, etc., over the PA. Driver eventually called it out on the radio, but there was a ton of feedback, and we were wondering what the deal was.

Once we found out, we were all dying laughing.
