OC Fair & Event Ctr (Costa Mesa)?

Anyone familiar with this location? Am I going to get wanded, or walk through a metal detector with the mall cops freaking out?

I'm planning on visiting the OC Japan Fair which ends on Sunday.

I hate patronizing venues which can't fathom the idea of off-duty carry.

The OC Fair had metal detectors/wanding. No firearms allowed.

But, when they had the gun show there, you had to show firearms and security would verify unloaded and ziptie it.
Kind of funny, because nothing stopping an evil doer from cutting the ziptie, buying ammo and loading up.

Very relaxed area of the Fairgrounds, with no wanding or bag checks. All good, thanks for the input.
