I've been out of the loop and was wondering if HR 1210 LEOSA Reform Act passed?

HR1210 is currently in the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.
There has been no movement since it was referred to that subcommittee on 04-28-2021.
It needs to pass that subcommittee before the end of 2022, in order to be eligible for a House vote on it.
The Senate version, S1610, also has no movement on it since it was referred to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary 05-13-2021.
Speculations that because there has been no movement on either bill for over a year, that they are being killed via committee inaction.
From a quick survey on those committee's calendars, it appears that bills that restrict certain types of firearms and bills that reduce the amount of people that can legally possess or carry firearms are being given priority over those bills.
The Chair of the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security is Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX).
The Chair of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary is Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL).Last edited by Quiet; 05-18-2022, 1:14 PM.sigpic
