Just wondering if anyone has a group purchase going on for STI/Staccato.

In my opinion this is the best way to get into a Staccato, it is better to start the process and wait, they make the item for you and then will send it to your local FFL.

They are worth it.

From what I have seen, the group buys run 3-400 less than IOP/Heros program, that's why I was looking into it more.

The's considerably more than the hero's program pricing.

There was one being organized a while back but a whiner cried so much and complained to Staccato because the whiner was a FFL and wasn't able to get any pistols that much faster and at the better price point. So Staccato cancelled the whole order.

I'm not sure. It's been a while and I've deleted the emails already.

If you qualify.. I suggest you order directly from Staccato.

Some other complainer will cry because it's not fair and cry to Staccato and get it cancelled also.

Always some whiner out there.

FWIW after getting my first STI at a local FFL, I was so enamored with its fit, finish, accuracy, G17 capacity yet wanted the optics variant...I waited for the FFL to get a DPO one in, and waited...continued to wait and then just did the Hero's program. Took 2 months for them to make it and ship, plus they give you five magazines with the pistol. They will mount/zero your choice of optic as well.

Another option is to buy from a gunbroker dealer who will ship to your local FFL as they usually have them in stock at free-state prices.
