Interesting. I agree they could add some guidance on their product pages. They also offer these to first responders via the APP program with no mention of caveats.

Maybe we can get a Youtuber to do some Project Farm style tests on some of these frames side by side against the regular polymer to test for shear strength, chip/crack resistance etc.

It honestly may be more of an academic issue vs a real life one. I really haven't heard any issues with them breaking, except very early ones.

I'm going to try to get a hold of a SIG LE rep this week. We aren't issued them, so I don't have easy access to one currently.

We have not heard anything like that regarding 320 TXG modules. Of the three agencies out west that T&E’d full size PRO’s with that grip mod, there were no issues to report. IRT the grips, yep, I haven’t heard anything to that effect, the only negative thing noted was one of the other Sig guys said the grips get warm, lol. I canvassed all the guys that have been working here for 10+ years and they said no issues to report. If you do find some literature to the contrary, please forward it to me so I can check it out, never hurts to be in the loop!
