Because the wilson combat grip is better!! -

Only thing I’ve heard is the tungsten frame can be brittle, which is why it is recommended as a competition product. The other option is the AGX aluminum frame or the Wilson combat frame (which is pretty comfortable)Comment

I'm using one currently. It's about 10 OZ heavier than my similarly set up M&P 2.0. Both using Holosun 509t optics, and TLR-1HL, loaded 17+1.

My bro in law is a Sig armorer and a LE detective in CA. He says Sig recommends against using them for duty, I can't remember why though.Comment

So, I've looked into this a bit after seeing this, including to talking to Bruce Grey from Grey Guns.
Sig still does not recommend them for duty use. Apparently the process for making the tungsten frames makes them more brittle than the glass filled nylon poly grips.
The fact they are selling TXG equipped guns as LE models is a bit concerning, along with the fact they aren't putting that in any of their marketing on their website regarding the bare grip modules.Sandstorm Custom Rifle Slings : Custom Paracord slings

Interesting. I agree they could add some guidance on their product pages. They also offer these to first responders via the APP program with no mention of caveats. So, I've looked into this a bit after seeing this, including to talking to Bruce Grey from Grey Guns.

Maybe we can get a Youtuber to do some Project Farm style tests on some of these frames side by side against the regular polymer to test for shear strength, chip/crack resistance etc.Comment
