So the way Proforce works is get there super early, put your name on the list with your phone #. At 1300 they cut off the list. Everyone on the list that answers the call can go into the store to do their DROS or P/U their firearm. The stay till all people on the list are taken care of. They have another list for non-firearms purchases.

I thought prices were the same for all blue label purchases. I called another blue label dealer and he said a gen 3 19 was $599?

The manufacturers all have a suggested retail price for their blue label guns. But not all Blue label dealers are the same.

Here's an example: ProForce is a Blue Label "distributor" and a retail store, but they have stopped selling Blue Label guns to Blue Label dealer stores. ProForce would have a Glock 17 GEN 5 MOS that they sell in the store for $450.00 to qualified purchasers, they would in the past sell the same Glock 17 GEN5 MOS to a Glock Blue Label dealer for resale in our store for $435 and charge us $15.00 to ship it.

So by the time the gun gets to our store we already have $450.00 invested in the same gun, so if we sell it at the same price ProForce is selling it for we actually lose money, so most Blue Label stores bump the price up a little to make something on that gun.

ProForce is getting that gun for a lot cheaper since they are a Blue Label "Distributor" and us Blue Label Dealers look like scum because we are charging more for the same gun even though we pay the same as you would in the ProForce store. No real incentive to sell Blue Label Glocks other than help out our local officers.

In terms of pricing you will see out there, Glock is really bad and all over the place because of the example, Sig and Smith & Wesson make it a more even playing field for Blue Label dealers so prices would be more competitive.

I just got a 45 MOS a few weeks ago at Proforce. The parking lot was slammed at 0600 when I pulled in. They leave a clipboard outside to sign in. So get there early and sign in before they open the doors. I waited til they opened and waited almost 6 hours. I almost bought two guns to make it worth my while. They do text you when they're ready and you can see where you're at on the list via interwebs.

I was told Mondays were their busiest times. Pickups go a lot faster. When I was there to pick up, they told guys that 0900 or 0930 were their cutoff times for walk in gun DROS's.

Glad to hear that. I’ll plan a trip soon. I want to pick up an M&P to compare to my 320.

I have spent a LOT of money at PF over the years, and the customer service has always been very good. The guys behind the counter always seem to be hustling.

With that said, I think of my free time as a commodity like anything else. Things that look like great deals in the ad become far less so when you have to spend your entire RDO acquiring them.

If you are roster exempt, it is easy to find just about any handgun you want, and paying the associated fees to get it is often a better bargain.

Pretty much this and there are other Glock Blue Label dealers as but one example. I really am amazed how little people value their time sometimes to save a few bucks. Like camping out overnight at a Turner's pre Covid to save $200 bucks or so on a sale price. Them dealing with Turner's corporate culture and reams of paperwork.

I've heard some total nightmare stories about ProForce waits.

I was at Proforce this past Saturday, 6/12/21 and the wait was short. I checked in at the reception desk and waited 10 minutes max to be helped at the gun counter. Decent selection of weapons: Glocks, Sigs, CZ’s, S&W’s. I was there to see the Sig P365 XL and P320 XCarry. They had both in stock. I arrived at about 2pm. There were only 4 other people in the store. They let me browse the accessories showroom while I waited.
