    Mod Search

Well, it seems that some have a problem reading the rules and want to come in here to bash. The Staff does a good job of trying to keep things in line but sometimes it's just better to have someone who is on site and has personal knowledge of the environment.

With this in mind I want to hear from the LEO members who post in and use this forum who among you do you think would be a good Mod for the LEO forum.

My criteria for a Mod is fairly simple.
You need to be able to leave your opinions, emotions and sensitivity at the door.
What needs to be applied is the rules, not hurt feeling or offended pride.
You need to use discretion, sometimes the rules don't say just what to do or they say something but it just doesn't fit what's actually happening.
You need to NOT have a history of jumping in to the fray and matching problem for problem or instigating and prodding the issue.

In short, a Mod needs to be fair, impartial, logical rather then emotional and know when giving a small nudge and hint is the better course instead of a knockout blow.

So, which LEO in this forum do you think fit the bill?
I'd like to get three possibles and then let the Staff review them to pick the LEO mod.
That's one reason I'm picky, I trust my Staff's judgment and opinions completely.

If you need a volunteer, I'll give it a try.

I know guys we were all told "never volunteer" for anything. But seeing I'm retired and have some spare time what the heck.

As far as following the rules.... Sir yes Sir. As written.
      Poke'm with a stick!

Ron-Solo, SVT-40, Retired, FireintheHole, Triad. All are good choices. I'd like to see the spot go to a cop.

I'm not LEO but I would like to second this

Retired has kept a pleasant attitude in the past even while we were disagreeing on a subject

I''d say give retired a try. Seems to be level headed.

I don't know if it helps or hurts but another vote for retired.

<-- Is an injury-retired LEO from LASD.

With utmost respect to the other current/retied LEO's that have the fortitude to post on this board (of the boards I visit, this one is the second-worst re: LEO hate), I'd like to nominate username "retired" as a mod.
