Got put in a black box for training today...

Hot damn, got put in a black box, belly chain, and leg restraints for a calculated use of force training today and damn, that was uncomfortable! Wasnt low like the image, it was up by my nipples!

Then they closed and locked the cell door and i was in there for about 2 minutes, not being able to take a full breath, wrist bone burning and just feeling trapped.
Then the LT popped the door and took it off and was like are you good? Its only been a few minutes, we put inmates in these for 8 hours if they act up.
Screw that, never want to be an inmate lol.

Occasionally I have to go inside inmate cells to take photos for an investigation. Sometimes we have to close the cell door so that I can photograph the inside/backside of the door. It creeps me out and I think “what if the door gets stuck and I can’t get out?” The last time I had to do that, a Sergeant stood with his arm in the door so that it wouldn’t close all the way and I could still get the picture. Made me feel better. LOL

Got locked in a dorm doing count once around 1982. Just started shooting the breeze with a couple prisoners. Few minutes later, the door pops and I exit and stink eye my partner. Sometimes the reflex motions rule the day.

And also why were you counting alone?
Double count is rule of law where I am.
