    Duty Socks

I'm specifically looking for knee high compression socks that are also good for sweaty feet. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

    Blue gold bond helps.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Any knee high compression socks you can recommend? I'm curious as to which brands stay in place all shift and hold up the longest over time.

As long as you're wearing boots, I would go with the latest Army issue green boot socks. That's what I'm wearing on duty and I already had a couple of my co-workers bugging me for some. If you wear shoes instead of boots on duty, your out of luck and are going to have to find some black socks.

Any service member can pick them up at the base PX or base Clothing Sales Store. Probably even AAFES online, but I haven't checked AAFES online to confirm.

Great cushion sole boot socks with excellent moisture wicking without paying exorbitant prices. They come in packs of 3. The current ones are NOT the old scratchy wool ones we used to get issued back in the day.

Thanks, I'll look into those. Yeah I should have mentioned I'm wearing boots on duty.

You're better off using a thin compression stocking/sock under a decent wool sock. Kind of tough to get something that's both compression and sweat wicking in one.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've placed an order for both types of socks recommended and I'll definitely try out the other suggestions mentioned.

So annoying when socks fall and start bunching up in your boots. These are the only $10 socks I have found that stay up during 10 mile hikes Compression is great also.

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.
