I know it is your job, but I wanted to say how appreciated the local officers were by my wife and I. We had a very routine fire evacuation down in Orange County and had to return the next day to grab some stuff. Since I was unable to walk up the hill to get a few things, a deputy gave us an escort and was very nice about not rushing us. The one we spoke with at the road block was also very nice and helpful.

So thank you. A lot of us do appreciate you.

I once got a speeding ticket and had to contest it because the posted speed limit was different than stated on the ticket. I thanked the officer for their professionalism during the traffic stop and the judge said he had never seen that happen. A job well done is a job well done. Glad you were able to see some positivity in a situation that could have been tragic

Thank you, sir. While the anti-LE sentiment is definitely strong, I have noticed the pro-LE support is quite a bit louder. For every one "F the police," middle finger, etc. that I get, I get at least 10 more, "thank you for what you do," "stay safe," "i'm praying for you," cases of water, energy drinks, gatorade dropped off at the station, snacks, etc.

So, thank you. It goes a long way.
